Requirements:

Impact Award Categories:

Corporate Partner of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Certified LGBTBE of the Year. 

Criteria:

Selection will be based on how the person’s/organization's leadership has benefitted the Tampa Bay Region. Each honoree will exemplify the Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber core values of Inclusiveness, Integrity, Collaboration, and Accountability. 

Nominees will be considered based on how they:

• Exemplify the highest standards of their profession
• Demonstrate excellence and success in their business and profession
• Promote diversity, equality, and inclusiveness in their workplace and/or professional capacity
• Model commitment to sustainability in daily business practices
• Demonstrate leadership in the community by engaging in volunteer activities and show themselves to be positive LGBTQ or allied role models
• Visibly support the LGBTQ community by providing contributions and/or in-kind services and support to individuals, nonprofit organizations, political issues, or other community-wide causes

Conditions & Eligibility:       

• All nominees must be members in good standing with the Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber.
• Current Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber officers, elected officials or declared candidates running for public office are not eligible for nomination.
• Honorees must be prepared to accept award in person at the State of the Chamber Luncheon on March 5th.

How the selection process works:

• All submissions will be reviewed by the LGBT Chamber’s judging panel to select the honorees. The panel is made up of members, committee members, board members and staff.
