Job Title: Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber Ambassador

Job Summary: The Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber Ambassador plays a vital role in promoting the Chamber’s mission and fostering a positive relationship between the Chamber and the local business community. Ambassadors serve as the face of the Chamber at various events, assist in member retention and recruitment, and help enhance the overall member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Representation: Attend and represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings, networking events, and other Chamber-sponsored activities.
• Member Engagement: Actively engage with current and prospective members to promote Chamber benefits and services.
• Networking: Facilitate connections between members and encourage participation in Chamber events and programs.
• Outreach: Assist in the recruitment of new members by sharing the value and benefits of Chamber membership.
• Support: Provide support to Chamber staff during events and initiatives, including setup, registration, and greeting attendees.
• Feedback: Gather feedback from members to help the Chamber improve its services and address members’ needs.
• Promotion: Promote Chamber events, programs, and initiatives through personal and professional networks.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people.
• Knowledge of the local business community is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or community engagement is preferred.
• Ability to attend events outside of regular business hours.
