About
Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We believe everyone deserves a decent place to live and partner with local families to make affordable homeownership possible. Through volunteerism, advocacy, and our ReStore, we create lasting impact across Dade City, Zephyrhills, and beyond—empowering families and strengthening neighborhoods one home at a time.
Rooted in our local communities and reaching around the world, Habitat brings people together to build stronger, more vibrant, and more equitable communities. We work side by side with individuals and families to ensure everyone has a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. We serve all of Pasco County east of the Suncoast Parkway. Pasco County is located in the North Tampa Bay Region. Rooted locally. Connected globally. Our mission calls us to welcome and make space for all people, across all differences, to come together in common cause to build homes, communities and hope. We do so even in difficult circumstances, dating back to our historic roots at Koinonia Farm, a small, interracial, Christian community in the segregated South of the United States. Welcoming and meeting the needs of people who have been systematically excluded from housing opportunities is central to our vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live. Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County partners with families and individuals to make homeownership affordable and within reach. Fair and equitable access to housing helps families build intergenerational wealth and creates stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities. We construct new single-family homes and occasionally rehab vacant properties. Every home is sold to an income-qualifying homebuyer through an affordable mortgage, making homeownership accessible and sustainable. We provide disaster recovery assistance through our ReBuild program. We partner with veterans who need roof replacements through our Veteran Build Initiative in partnership with Owens Corning. We provide homebuyer counseling and education to help families prepare for successful homeownership. We’re proud to work alongside local volunteers, donors, and families to build a place to call home. Office hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (appointments recommended) Habitat ReStore is a home improvement store and donation center selling new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, building materials and more. Habitat ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. We are not like other thrift stores. ReStores accept donations and sell a constantly changing inventory of diverse, high-quality merchandise to the public at a fraction of retail price — while diverting reusable household items and building materials from landfills. You shop. We build homes. The sales from donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in East and Central Pasco County — a good deal for you, your community and the environment.
Habitat for Humanity is more than a global nonprofit housing organization — it’s a movement.
